• Use it in prosperity rituals. Incorporate the oil into prayer or spiritual work centered on money, business, abundance and favorable opportunities.
• Use it in protection and cleansing work. Basil is traditionally associated with purification and protection and may be incorporated into personal rituals centered on clearing unwanted influences and creating a spiritually protected environment.
• Work with candles. Use the oil as part of candle work centered on prosperity, good fortune, protection or cleansing. Keep oils away from an open flame.
• Anoint spiritual objects. A small amount may be used on appropriate ritual objects, charms or tools associated with your intention.
• Use it with petitions. Write your intention on a petition paper and keep the oil nearby while you pray, visualize or perform your personal ritual.
• Include it on your altar. Keep Basil Oil among candles, coins, amulets, herbs or other symbolic objects associated with prosperity, protection and good fortune.
• Use the accompanying perfume. Incorporate the included 1 dram perfume into your personal spiritual routine while focusing on the intention you are working toward.

Because basil appears in many folk and spiritual traditions, its symbolic uses can vary widely. Some practitioners associate it primarily with prosperity and luck, while others incorporate it into protection, purification and cleansing work.
